Africa’s Mega Model is an upcoming reality TV series and interactive competition in which 30 aspiring models will compete for the title of “Africa’s mega model” and a chance to begin their career in the modelling industry.

BACKROUND

Social development is about constantly improving the welfare of individuals in the society which includes meeting the necessities that influences lifestyles. And the success of society is linked to the well -being of each and every individual in the society, this requires the removal of certain barriers to enable people journey towards their individual dreams with confidence.

Across cultures and society people face pressure to conform to roles and stereotypes portrayed. However, gender equality is essential to sustainable development globally and can be achieved when women and men enjoy the same rights and opportunity.

Empowered men and women are in a better position for contributing towards productivity of the entire family, they also support in improving prospects specifically for the future generation.

The Africa’s Mega Model show can contribute to bridging the gap between gender stereotypes by showcasing diverse talents, strengths, and ambitions of participants. By featuring both male and female models in various roles and challenges, the show challenges conventional gender norms in the modeling industry. This exposure can redefine beauty standards and encourage a more inclusive perception of gender roles. Additionally, the platform provides an opportunity to amplify the voices of contestants, promoting empowerment and breaking down stereotypes associated with beauty and gender. Concept
“ Africa’s mega model” is a reality Talent Hunt Show for the young passionate with modeling. Discovering Talents from Four (4) Regions (Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and Ho) within the country is just the beginning of the new evolution of Models.

 Our concept of cherry-picking young talents to groom and prepare them for the modeling assignment process will be wide casted in an open audition throughout the regions, making a final selection of 30 contestants both male and female that will participate in a 13-episode series of true entertainment show.
